Now when I do a code is displayed on both the phone and on the computer. I need to verify that the code matches on each. This is a simple mechanism for making sure that your connecting the right devices, if I clicked my phone and it brought up this code and then I went and looked on the phoneand I didn't see a code then I might connected to somebody else's phone. So I'm prompted, does the code match? And I say, yes, it does. So I'm going to say, yes, and click Next. I have to do the same thing on the phone as well to allow the bi-directional connection. And now we wait while the drivers necessary to support the phone are downloaded and installed from Windows update. This will take just a minute to complete. Transfer Data 3:59-8:07 So at this point all the drivers necessary to support my smartphone have been loaded, I'm going to click Close in this interface and this screen is automatically displayed. Using this screen I can decide which data I want to transfer between the phone and my computer. Notice that I have a couple of options down here. One option is to listen to audio from my phone through the computers speakers.I have music on my phone, I could play that music through my computers speakers via Bluetooth. I could also go the other direction and use this computer as a headset or a speakerphone to make calls on my smartphone. I could also browse files on my phone and I could also send files to my phone. Let's go over here under See Also and open up show Bluetooth devices. When I do I go in to Control Panel under Hardware and Sound, Devices and Printers, there's a category called Bluetooth devicesand here's my smartphone. I'm going to right-click on it and go to Properties and let's go to the Services tab. On the Services tab it tells us what type of services are supported by the phone. In other words what kind of data can we transfer between the computer and the phone over the Bluetooth connection? I can transfer audio. I can transfer files. I could also use it for making telephone calls, I can also remotely control the device as well. So at this point we've paired my computer with my smartphone. But notice that the status down here reads disconnected. The pairings complete but there's no active connection, no data being transferred in other words between these two devices. Let's go down here and use some of the options for transferring data between these two devices. For example, let's browse the files on my phone. Click this option. Now in order for this link to occur I have to authorize it on the other end of the connection. I have to go onto my phone and say yes, go ahead and allow the FTP connectionbetween the computer and the phone. When I do I'm allowed to see the folders on the phone and here's my SD card in my phone I'll double-click on it and let's go to pictures that I've taken with my camera. With this connection open I can now copy data back and forth between the phone and my computer.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
