satisfaction. It wasn’t the job itself that wasn’t meeting the satisfaction needs; it was the leaders that were in charge of them. The co-workers, or their supervisors didn’t impress them at all. Overall, this article just talked about this study and suggested reasons for the decline. Shattering Stereotypes of Female Coaches. Journal Of Sport & Exercise Psychology [serial online]. June 2006;13(2):206-207. Available from: SPORTDiscus with Full Text, Ipswich, MA. Accessed February 8, 2012. This article takes a different approach than any other article. It talks about how we need to shatter all the stereotypes of female coaches. One of the main ones is that men are more competent than women. They say how ridiculous that stereotype is by dissecting what “competent” means. The researches investigated three qualifications. The first was whether of not the coach had a physical education degree. The second was how many years of teaching and coaching experience the person had. And the last was if the person had high school or collegiate playing experience. The results were surprising. Females actually had more physical education degrees and taught physical education. Males only had more high school experience. They had the same collegiate experience. This proves that, in general, women were just as qualified to teach as men. And to conclude, there should be no more stereotypes.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
