always been a lottery. He had no reason other than it has always been. The phrase “always been” is linked to tradition as they (traditions) have a certain way something is done according to people before them. Traditions do not always make since but as the story shows you sometime you must find out why something was done and decide is it necessary to continue it. The black box that was used in the story is a major symbol of tradition. Again families often hand down items so to continue the legacy of what occurs. The box was falling apart but no one dared to ask a question about repairing or getting a new box because this would mean replacing tradition on the grounds that someone was unhappy with the way things are supposed to occur ( Berkun, S. 2016) . The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
