Everyone in the organization plays a crucial role in change not just the new management team. Simple hiring a new top leadership team is not the fix. External practitioners can make dramatic improvements to a company like Grayson Chemical Company. The External practitioners can see things from a different view point. The also do not depend on Grayson for raises, approval or promotions. (Brown, 2001, pg. 88) The current top leadership would have to spin the external practitioners up to speed so they fully understand what the Grayson Chemical Company is involved with. A small training class can also bring the external practitioners to light what the culture is, how the communication networks work and the formal and informal power systems. The use of internal practitioners would also be of great benefit to the Grayson Chemical Company. The most significant part of this internal practitioner is that they are already a part of the organization.
