moving homes during the week of the wedding if they wanted to move and if they weren’t on good terms with people, they would reconcile things during the week. One of the things that they talked about that is part of their ritual and tradition during the week of the wedding was slaughtering a sheep. They do it so that they have enough food for the week, the women will gather and sing about the father slaughtering the sheep and hanging it up. They will also meet up and sing while preparing the food. It seemed like they would get together and sing about everything that is going on, so singing was a huge part of preparing everything.
