The similarities that humans and God have include showing love, creating beauty, or reasoning
on a higher level of thinking. Since the fall of Adam and Eve humans have been born into sin,
but if they accept God then they are saved. Christians for centuries have debated the purpose of
humans and why they were created. In Chapter 3: Wisdom in the Beginning states, “The creation
of humanity in the image of God demonstrates God’s special relationship to humanity and God’s
role for humanity” (Diffey, 2018). In Christianity the role is to do everything in God’s name and
bring Him glory at the end of the day. Although Christians have a foundation for their life, there
are still monumental problems with humanity. M. Shuster, in short said that humans are the real
problem with humanity. We give into temptation easily and because of this we will always have
consequences and have to pay for the price of sin. Christians, however, do know that when Jesus
comes back He will rescue them out of this life and they will be freed from the chains of sin.

Jesus
Jesus is the most influential and perfect man in the Christian worldview. “Christians of all
persuasions acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God” (Stanton, 2002). Jesus is the Son when
speaking about the trinity. He was part of the creation story and still is working His hands into
society today. In Christian worldview, Jesus was both God and man, and if one does not believe
in God they may be very confused by this “plot twist.” Jesus was the savior and redeemer for all
sinners. Because humans long ago (and today) broke their covenant with God, Jesus was and had
to be the piece that reconnected humans to God. It said in Genesis that one day there would be a
child who will be born to conquer sin and death itself. God sent his son Jesus and He was sent to
show God’s true nature and heart. Jesus was also sent to be more present and personal to
humans, and to be the ultimate sacrifice the world needed.
Restoration
According to the Christian Worldview the way to save humanity from sinful nature is by
having faith. Faith and grace do play a role in Christian salvation. Having faith means that
Christians know that Jesus was the ultimate godly-human being. With this being said, having
faith turns someone’s life around forever and it should start on the inside or with their heart.
When people acknowledge their faith in Christ then they become selfless and can finally see
others’ the way Jesus views them. In terms of salvation if Christians have faith, and then are
given grace and show grace, then they can understand the true love of God. They will have
