psychological presence, the vital signs and symptoms of distress (Estes et al., 2016, p.137). Blood pressure measures the force exerted by the flow of blood pumped into the large arteries. The systolic of an adult should be lower than 120 and the diastolic should be lower than 80. A temperature is a number which could reflect the degree of core body heat. An adult’s normal body temperature should be range from 35.7-38.0 °C, it depends on the method of measurement . Respiration is an act of breathing. The normal range of an adult is 12-20. Pulse is a palpable pressure which creates as the blood is carried to the peripheral vasculature, the normal range of an adult is 60-100. (Estes et al., 2016, p.143-151). Question 2: For an older adult aged 72, the normal health parameter of blood pressure of current diagnostic threshold is 140/90mmHg (Gemma et al., 2018, p234), the temperature range is 35.4-38.0 °C, the respiration range is 12-20 and the normal pulse range should be ranging from 60 to 100. T he normal health parameters of a child aged 6 are different from the older adult. The blood pressure range of 6-years child is according to gender. For female, the diastolic range is 66-70 and the systolic range is 103-109. For male, the diastolic range is 65-70 and the systolic range is 104-112. The temperature range is 35.4-38.0 °C, the respiration range is 16-22 and the normal pulse range should be ranging from 70 to 115 (Estes et al., 2016, p.143-153) . In the video, the patient is a 73 years older adult. His nurse did a primary survey for him carefully and noticed that there was something different from normal. The blood pressure of Hargraves was 120/70 and 20 millimeters of mercury lower than the normal range 140/90, this situation could be considered to be hypotension. The potential reasons which could lead to the hypotension are heart failure, dehydration, infection, medication and so on. Firstly, the heart disease in Hargraves’ medical history may one reason for hypotension. The decrease of the blood pressure can cause by a decreased stroke volume
