Maintenance of the software system has too many outside factor to account for that will impact performance and availability causing a poor experience. 1. Ivan Marsic (2012). Your post has "captured me" because of this illustration. Well taken out! The algorithm was also very didactic. Nice job! 30 words Permalink | Show parent | Reply Re: Week 6 Discussion Question by Ntsako Mhlongo - Wednesday, 13 March 2019, 4:34 PM Hello Dwayne That was an exceptionally well done assignment. You have inspired me for the remainder of this course. Keep up the good work. 23 words Permalink | Show parent | Reply Re: Week 6 Discussion Question by Richard Chimama - Wednesday, 13 March 2019, 3:15 AM Hi class,
01.04.2019 CS 2401 - AY2019-T3: Week 6 Discussion Question 23/35 I would like to de²ne both concepts before explaining why it is di±cult to validate the relationships between internal product attributes and external attributes. Internal product attributes such as cyclomatic complexity deal with the inner complex of conditional logic of a program (the part of the program that we don’t see when running the program on our machine, the source code). It measures how many functions are there in the source code and computing the amount of complexity in the system. Internal product attributes are used to estimate the duration that it will take to create a system, this is in the source code aspect, and it helps to calculate the amount of time it will take to make the system. Whereas external product attributes such as maintainability deals with how the system interacts with users and how is the system managed (the part of the program that we interact with, the program graphic interface). It also helps the developer to ²x the system and make it user-friendly. (Marsic, 2012) From the de²nition of these two software estimation methods, I think it can be di±cult to validate the relationships since one of the aspect deals with the amount of e³ort it will take to make the source code, and used to create the working parts of the system, while the other aspect has a much more conceptual perspective, dealing with how the system is managed, documented and used by the users.
