at times that it is my family who seems to do it the most to me, who puts me on the spot or tells me things short notice and makes me feel like I am obligated to do the things they want. 2C. I found that I was able to stick up for myself a lot better this week and at work and in my home life I did no say yes to everything and not cave nearly as much as I had before. But again I did noticed I am least effective at home. At work I am getting a lot stronger with it. I found that I am still under stressful situations when I say yes. 2D. I noticed I was very effective this week and that I even talked to my parents. I stuck up for myself a lot more and sounded like I had confidence in myself. After saying no I did notice that I did feel bad, and was worried that they will be mad or be upset at me. But after a short time that feeling always went away and they were never really mad at me or upset for too long at all.

2E. The most pressing behavior is tension and stress. If I feel a lot of tension or I am stressed out I tend to say yes a lot more often rather than if I just took deep breathes and relaxed. My communication goal is still the same as last weeks. It still fits my problem areas and it also seems to be helping me out. 2A. Full chart all entries. 11- Mar I had a friend date with one of my friends from class. We were going out to dinner and just hanging out. I haven’t had a relaxing day in an extremely long time. I was so in need to get out. Then my neighbors asked me to watch their kids, they said one of their close friends had an urgent emergency and couldn’t take the kids but they needed to be there, so I dropped my plans like once again because I cannot say no and watch they kids for the evening 12- Mar My friend at school was starving and so was I. We decided to leave class a little early and get a snack down stars. We got down stairs and I got my food. I started to sit down when my friend said “oh, I thought you were paying”. I did not know what to do, so I just said yea that is fine with me, so I paid for her meal as well as mine. 14- Mar I have a baby sitter for my son, and she is a family friend and so she just expects me to pay her a very small amount each week. I am extremely lucky for her because I cannot work as much with going to school full time. The last couple weeks I have had training for work so she has been watching my son a lot longer hours and many more days then she usually does. At the end of week she looked at her check and she thought I was going to give her extra money like tip money. It would’ve been a nice gesture since she is so hopefully but I didn’t put it in the check. The only cash I had on me was a 50. I figured that is only about 10 dollars more than what she needed but I just let her have it.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
