we see from day to day. Unfortunately, there can be abrasions that can occur in the ventral pathway that can interrupt the process of what has been seen in the primary visual cortex. In other words, there can be lesions that can alter how we as humans see and interrupt certain things. According to Kalat (2019), “lesions along the dorsal pathway can give rise to a range of deficits, such as optic ataxia, where people cannot use visual information to accurately reach for and grasp objects.” This goes on to prove that lesions can cause an alteration in the way one interprets or perceives certain things.
