designed to enable additional learning and to contribute to student success! 2) Scantron form 882e (the thin one, NOT the thick one) and a PENCIL are needed for each of the regular exams; I will be unable to grade any scans filled out in pen! Also, for scantrons to be gradable, they must be neat, clean, and straight, with no rips or folds; any unacceptable scantron will not be graded! You may also wish to bring tissues and earplugs. Except for an emergency, it is UNACCEPTABLE to leave the classroom in the middle of an exam. A pen only is needed for the final. 3) Students needing assistance with writing skills are encouraged to visit the Campus Writing and Learning Center, located on the first floor (down the ramp near the elevators) in TREF 1402. For the enhancement of speaking skills, see the speech lab information posted in the downloads section in blackboard. 4) It is especially important to keep regular attendance. I will take up the roll and begin class at the start time scheduled! Tardiness is highly disruptive and students should make every effort to be punctual. Further, it is the responsibility of the student who is late and misses roll to see me immediately following the class ON the day for which he/she is tardy; otherwise, the unexcused absence and any zeros will stand! NOTICE: Any students who are more than 10 minutes late and/or leave more than 10 minutes before class is dismissed and/or who leave for 10 minutes and then come back during a class will be given an Unexcused Absence; additionally, if this occurs on an assignment day, the grade for said assignment will be zero. And if you are more than 10 minutes late on an exam day, you will be asked to leave and take the makeup exam per the schedule instead! It is not acceptable to sign in and then leave the classroom before class starts. Additionally, it is NEVER acceptable to sign the attendance sheet for anyone other than self, and to do so is a violation of the code of student conduct and may be interpreted as cheating. 5) Cell phones, beepers, and other noise-making devices are NOT allowed in class, unless special permission is granted by the instructor , as this is considered disruptive behavior. Smacking, hair flipping, personal grooming, pen tapping/clicking or any other behavior that is disruptive for others is not allowed. Also, recording is NOT allowed unless special permission is granted by the instructor. 6) Follow the code of student behavior as outlined in the TCCD Student Handbook – see link at the end of this document and/or go through the TCCD website. Also, p l ea s e re f ra i n fr o m w ea r i n g p e r f u m e / c o l o gn e or anything with a strong scent t o c l ass and do not bring items to class that have a strong scent!

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
