Expressing one self’s emotion freely lessen the emotional disturbance a person carries within themselves and its effect to their general emotional health. Recent studies show that, difficulties expressing emotions are labelled as a risk factor for potential suicide behaviors and thoughts (Forkmann et al., 2014). For instance, Jacobson and colleagues (2011) found that adolescents who has a personality with restrictive emotionality, or greater difficulties comprehending and expressing their emotions, were more likely to report suicidal ideation and attempts. In our cohort, a lot of people chose to keep their thoughts and emotions to themselves and afraid of getting judge by others or being different than the rest. Sometimes, choosing the right group of people who shares the same feelings as you do help a lot for you to open up yourself and makes you feel confident towards other people’s judgements (controlling the

Being able to express myself to others expands my physical activities daily, and keep my stress level minimal due to the joyfulness that it brought me in my daily life, it somehow helps me to keep my emotional health stable and at the same time enhances my intellectual, physical, and social health as well. The actual goal for myself is to learn to trust other people so that I could be more comfortable enough to share my thoughts and feelings without worrying about their opinions. With all of the customizations, and positive changes above, one can foresee that it will lead to a better health and more positivity in life. No more coming to school stressed, and less sleep deprived students are showing up due to proper stress managing. Less students feel anxious since being open to one another is getting practiced and emotional awareness is being improved. Each of these personal changes enhances emotional health stability in a more precise way and helps other including me in a way that seems to be impossible at the beginning yet with discipline and perseverance, in time, we will be all emotionally better than we are currently at right now.
