Chronic leukemia is more prevalent in older people. Bone marrow is totally occupied with cancerous leukocytes. Immature non- functional WBCs in the bloodstream. Death by internal hemorrhage and overwhelming infection. Treatments- irradiation, antileukemic drugs, and stem cell transplants.
