For information aboutthe Appliance Diagnostics Center,See“About working with log files”on page 51.Viewing log files using the Support commandYou can use the following section to view the log file information.To view logs using theSupport > Logs > Browsecommand:1Enter browse mode using theMain_Menu>Support>Logsfollowed by theBrowsecommand in the NetBackup Appliance Shell Menu. TheLOGROOT/>prompt appears.2To display the available log directories on your appliance, typelsatLOGROOT/>prompt.3To see the available log files in any of the log directories, use thecdcommandto change directories to the log directory of your choice. The prompt changesto show the directory that you are in. For example, if you changed directoriesto theGUIdirectory, the prompt appears asLOGROOT/GUI/>. From that promptyou can use thelscommand to display the available log files in theGUIlogdirectory.4To view the files, use theless <FILE>ortail <FILE>command. Use the desktop to map, share, and copy the logs.Note:The NetBackup Appliance unified logs are not the same as the NetBackupunified logs, such asnbpemornbjm. NetBackup Appliance has its own set of unifiedlogs. To collect the NetBackup unified logs, use the Collect Logs Wizard and selectNetBackup.You can also use theMain_Menu>Support>Logscommands to do the following:■Upload the log files to Symantec Technical Support.■Set log levels.■Export or remove CIFS and NFS shares.
