Contract development refers to the simple positive support that is primarily used by theindividuals in fluctuating the behavior of the victims experiencing depression. Therefore, thecontract development will play a vital role in highlighting the expectations therapist and clientsfacing depression. Hence the contract development will aid me in determining the expectationswhich Kevin should emulate to minimize the depression he is facing, thus having a better future.Since the depressed client is a little child, the intervention session cannot be conducted at once.Therefore, there is a need for breaking the intervention session, which involves counseling, intoseveral stages for better advice of the child to minimize depression he is undergoing.Negotiation will be appropriate in this case, whereby I will negotiate with Mary to define thebetter process which can be used in conducting the intervention plan (Ssegonja et al, 2018).Having consulted with Kevin's mother, I have realized that there is a need for several counselingsessions to the child due to his age as he is unable to cope with the intervention plan, whichembraces counseling at once.Therefore, we will we develop a plan or strategy illustrating how Kevin will be attendingcounseling session purposely to attain the collaborative counseling goal of achieving a betterfuture. The critical goal or objective of the collaborative counseling is to break the problems orthe encounters that an individual is experiencing numerous parts which can be easily managed(Stasiak et al, 2018). Consequently, this depicts that establishing a strategy that Kevin shallfollow to acquire counseling will be helpful as it will enable him to be counseled on a specific
