This image also represents what “feminists describe men’s power as a system of patriarchy” (Anderson, 405). This ideology highlights “ patriarchy as part of the structure of the society. In such a system, patriarchy structures the many social institutions that regulate and determine the nature of women’s lives” evidently leading to the markets and advertisments we percieve everyday. The affects that advertisments such as this one has on females becomes deterimental to their self-esteem and mental health. There are various insistences in society where women are discriminated agaisnt and advertisments in the media are just one of them, but it is important to grasp that advertisments for as long as we can remember. When personally exposed to such advertisments, I long for a future in which I would not have to fear the well-being of my children due to what society can expose them to at such a young age.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
