helpful links, specifically the APA and MLA documentation. I am likely to use those two links since I am unfamiliar with them. 3. BTC offers college preparation, basic skills, ESL, and adult eduation workshops and courses that teach you to learn and apply a variety of active learning strategies to advance your knowledge of academic study skills and your critical and creative reasoning proficiency. Not that you need to take one of these courses, but which ones catch your interest, and why? Does something in your history suggest that you might need one or both? Either way, explain your answer. The only one that really interests me is the study skills. First of all I think everyone can use a refresher on study skills because sometimes we all get distracted and it is hard to get back into the groove of studying. During, my high school years I rarely studied. Which in turn my grades showed that I did not put in the effort. I really think the reason for not studying was because I was never taught the proper way for my learning style. Everyone learns differently, I have learned that there is not just one way to study but I remember in school they taught us how to take notes and that was it. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with A.D.D. in 3rd grade, but was not medicated once I got to High School. I am still not medicated but cope with it but I have learned some study skills to help me. I am sure there are skills out there that I am not aware of that could help.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
