EDUC 621Personal Response (125–150words minimally):After reviewing this assessment, I would recommend the KTEA-II, to be used to assess the students that it is designed for. I truly, believe that this assessment would be useful in accessing this population because the assessment measures all seven areas designated by the IDEA. This allows for specific identification and analyzation of student errors. Being that the exam has timed and untimed sections ofthe test, it allows for unhurried response in those areas that call for oral student feedback. This test would be useful in my current classroom. The alternative forms allows for continual measurement throughout the school year. This leads to necessary interventions and more opportunities to take the assessment. Page 4 of 4
