schools to ensure that the students adhere to them in and out of school. Various forms of
punishment have been selected, including expulsion from school.
Schools should encourage students to attend counseling sessions when going through difficult
life challenges for them to find a safe place to vent and receive help. Schools should be a place
for every child to feel safe and protected. Teachers and the education fraternity should lay down
structures to ensure cyberbullying is stopped if not minimized (Foody, Samara &Carlbring,
2015). Victims should be encouraged to report any form of online harassment as soon as it begins
so that the perpetrators can be traced and held accountable.
Not only are schools involved in laying down measures to prevent and reduce cyberbullying, but
the community and the police also have a role too in cyberbullying prevention. The police will
help in enforcing the law as set by the constitution of the State (Kris & Jasmine et al., 2010).
Encouraging bystanders to take positive action against cyberbullying will also help minimize the
extent of the bullying instead of cheering on as the bully forwards messages meant for harm.
Revealing the inspirations for cyberbullying ought to advance a more in-depth understanding of
this marvel and possibly diminish the relational violence that can result from it. By giving a
structure that starts to explain the inward and outer components motivating the vice, there is
upgraded potential to create effective preventive measures to forestall cyberbullying and its
negative impacts.

Critical questions remain
.
What are the effects and the extent of cyberbullying on gay and transgender students?
What is the role of technology in curbing cyberbullying in schools?
Conclusion
Cyber is a severe issue in this modern world. It is an issue that cannot be ignored or wished
away. As society actively evolves around internet use, measures and structures need to be laid
down to ensure that the vulnerate online are adequately protected. Parents also want to be
involved in ensuring the safety of their children online. They should affirm their children more,
making sure that they are raising strong children who believe in themselves and their
capabilities. Cyberbullying has led to the deaths of many young people through suicide.
Counseling the youths and affirming them of their strengths and their moral virtue will serve to
increase their self-confidence; hence even if they are attacked online, they can rise above the
insults.
