agreement and value judgments. Social, organizational and individual factors play important role in decision making in organizations all of which are dependent on each other for successful decision making. According to Farrell (2017), a series of individual factors such as moral philosophies, stages of moral development, gender, level of education and religion affect the ethical decision making in any organizations. Moral philosophies include the rules and principles applied by individuals when choosing what is right from what is wrong. Moral philosophies are categorized into ethical formalism, consequentialism and justice. Consequentiality philosophies only consider a decision right and acceptable if it meets a desired outcome such as knowledge, pleasure, utility and growth in career. Consequentialist philosophies are classified into utilitarianism and egoism. Ethical formalism focuses primarily on the rights and intentions relating to specific behaviors. Justice on the other hand, relates to how fairness is evaluated or how to deal with perceived injustices imposed by others.
