• The data we collected was primary data, which is a bit expensive and costs more for the whole procedure. Some of the data we collected was secondary data and there is no guarantee of the quality of data. Methodology Methodology describes that how have you gathered information for your research work. In our research to analyze the Inventory Management system at Gul Ahmad Textiles we have used different tools which includes the primary and secondary sources. The aim of methodology here is to tell the research procedure, overall research design, data collection and analysis procedure. RESEARCH PROCEDURE: To study the Inventory management system at a Textile Manufacturing, we chose Gul Ahmad Textile as our place of study. We gathered information by interviewing their Operations Manager and by self-observation. For our secondary source of information, we used: internet, Gul Ahmad inventory records, annual report which are attached within this report. FORMULATION OF HYPOTHESIS: As the research conducted was Exploratory in nature hence no formal hypothesis was formed or tested in this study. EXPLORATORY RESEARCH: The information which we gathered for our research was conducted by the following methods: Personal Interview Self-observation Inventory records Internet SAMPLING: Sample of one textile company was taken for this research conducted. The sample company was Gul Ahmad Textiles. In our study, the universe taken was Top management to labors including skilled/un-skilled workers. SOURCES OF INFORMATION: The research comprises of two sources of information used: 1. Primary data 2. Secondary data PRIMARY DATA:

In Primary data we used interviews and self-observation of the inventory management process. 1. Interviews: We interviewed the Gul Ahmad’s Operations Manager there to collect the information which we required as this form of data collection is very easy to collect and large information can be gathered also. 2. Self-observation: We witnessed the whole process of Inventory storage from starting till the end, to witness what actually is happening at the facility. FIELD WORK: The interview and the on-site visit of Gul Ahmad Textile was conducted on 21st March 2018 during afternoon and evening time of 3pm to 5 pm. ORGANIZATION OF DATA Research design, sample design and field work are under taken solely to obtain the data, which when organized and analyzed will give desired information to draw inferences, conclusions, recommendations and decisions. The frame work for the tabulation and analysis of data was established through following steps: a. Interview schedule was prepared to obtain desired information from the respondents. The questions were designed in a manner that candid opinions and professional experience of the respondents would be the natural outcome.
