Schools are in a different position to develop healthy dietary behaviors. The school canteen should provide menus that promote healthy diet. It needs to make sure that students get the right amount of nutritious foods and at the same time not limiting their food choices. It is important that the food prepared by the school cafeteria contains all the nutrients needed by a student (Brener et al., 2009). By giving the student a right, healthy, and nutritious food they can be productive in the classroom and the school activities. By simply feeding them the stimuli of the students become active. That may results of productivity on the classroom and high academic performance. Foreign Studies There are no substantial literatures about the nutritional values of foods and drinks offered at school canteens. However, some studies support the idea that children might not be eating the right kind of foods at school. A study conducted in the USA showed that children at school may be exposed to large variety of unhealthy foods and drinks such as snack foods and soft-drinks which can be found on food stores inside the school (Anderson et al., 2003) Apparently not all food in the school canteen are healthy, for there are a lot of varieties of food to buy in the canteen crackers, junk food etc. This may lead/result of diarrhea, stomach pain, and etc. or food poison. This can be bad reputation in the school and bad for the business. According to Safia. S. Elramli and Hana M. Elbakoush, Benghazi University. Adolescent is transitional stage of lifecycle linked of childhood and adult. It has special character including biological changes such as an increased growth rate, changed body composition and achievement of sexual maturity.
