Taylor 2 floor first, which is notoriously louder and more populated than any floor in the library, because I was nervous of an immediate repercussion by an authority figure. I played “Gas pedal” by Sage at 100% volume and pretended my headphones were in my computer and acted as normal as possible, as if nothing was going on. While I was sitting with my pledge brothers, they were able to observe other reactions that I couldn’t see, and the reactions were surprising. I got through two minutes and thirty-four seconds of the song before I was addressed, and the student who addressed me came up from the third floor to tell me, besides that the students on the fifth floor stared at me with hate, but never confronted me.
