research. Furthermore, the final design layout will be formulated.
Hypotheses
The main goal of this study is to improve the process of Coconut water extraction and
cutting of coconuts. To achieve the desired outcome, the following hypotheses are formulated:
Null Hypotheses (H

1. The time required to cut the coconut and extract water from the coconut manually is
equal to the time required to cut the coconut and extract water from the coconut using the
machine.
2. There is no difference in the safety between cutting the coconut and extracting the water
from the coconut manually and cutting the coconut and extracting the coconut using the
machine.
Alternative Hypotheses (H

):
1. The time required to cut the coconut and extract water from the coconut manually is
greater than the time required to cut the coconut and extract water from the coconut using
the machine.
2. The safety between cutting the coconut and extracting the water from the coconut
manually is less than the safety when cutting the coconut and extracting the coconut
using the machine.
