“Wearing a MagicBand helps make everything super easy, so you can relax and enjoy the fun.” (About my Disney Experience, 2013) Disney is providing solutions that their guests will enjoy and making them available with the technology that they are using. Additional testing is likely to be done to ensure they are meeting the needs of their customers but this is absolutely a step in the right direction. Another tactic Disney employs using technology is having cast members throughout the park geared with iPads to take customer satisfaction surveys. This not only gives them an opportunity to interact with their guests but also to gather valuable information that can be used to even further personalize and customize their guests experiences. Disney also places undercover employees throughout the park to simply observe guests. They look for areas that could improve the guests experience and where they may be falling short of this. I think secondarily it’s a way to keep guests safe and protected as well. These tactics require great transparency with the guests at their park. Purpose: To build brand Loyalty Strategy: Tactics: In conclusion, Disney is continuously trying to strengthen and build brand loyalty with their guests. They are also listening to them and providing new and innovative ways to connect with each other. Their use of new technology is truly setting an example for other business to follow. Disney understands that if they want guests to come back then they need to provide them with unforgettable experiences and constantly work at creating emotional connections with staff and guests.
