The parents do not parent with fear instead they parent with love and want to see their children happy. In another study done by Dr. Fagan he compared the statistics of physical health, the people and families with more religious involvement on average live longer than by 7 years. secular school usually inner city students. This is a major benefit of raising a child with a religious background. The child can excel further more in a private school due to smaller class sizes and a better focus on the student themselves. The last benefit I will discuss is marital satisfaction. Brad Wilcox conducted a study of marital satisfaction. He said the more often husbands attended religious service, the happier and more understood the women felt. In turn this helps the children have a happy childhood. If the parents are happy then there is no divorce which helps the mental health and emotional health of the child. These are only a few examples that show how religion is helpful and beneficial to the child’s development. In conclusion, religion is a welcomed and beneficial part to a child’s development but it is not necessary or required for the child to grow up as a respectable and polite person. In other words values can be learned through other methods other than religion.
