Discuss the term “cloud computing” and the main security and privacy risks that need to be addressed within the area of cloud computing. (33 marks) Question 6. Cybercrime. a) “Cybercrime is a fast growing area of crime. In 2013, the cost of cybercrime reached $113 billion. Over 1 million consumers a day become victims of cybercrime” (Symantec Cybercrime Report, 2013). Please discuss this statement and outline five common types of cyber threats (e.g. phishing, pharming, malware, botnets etc.) and some basic preventive measures that can be utilised to protect against the risks of these types of crime.
