NextGen Healthcare has a strong market leadership presence in the marketplace; which has helped them rapidly grow and increase their success in the market (KLAS Reports, 2015). Also, their extensive network of dealership allows them to provide services that are efficient for their customers but enhances their management of competitive challenges within the market. Lastly, the great success of the product mixture has given them strengths in number to handle a variety of customer’s needs (KLAS Reports, 2015).

For example, Athena Healthcare Inc., days inventory outstanding (DIH) is a lot higher than most of their competitors (KLAS Reports, 2015). Also, they are at a low level of product forecasting that caused missed opportunities. There is a strong sense or need for improvement inthe cost of transportation because if the organization can lower the cost of shipping, it would reduce the expenses they spend each month. Furthermore, an increase in cash flow can provide opportunities to invest in new technologies and products. A possible threat for the software company is their shortage of skilled workers in some of the global markets. Also, liability laws differ in many of the global markets and can expose the company to possible liability claims due to changes in the marketplace for that region or location (KLAS Reports, 2015). Epic Care (EMR) Systems has its challenges. For example, the EMR is not considered thebest system among most physicians (KLAS Reports, 2015). It is not in the right place as far as effective and efficient workflows. Another challenge is the amount of time required to respond toall the elements promptly while building out some of the health maintenance modules and registries for the practice. Furthermore, the company appears not to have flexibility within the availability of their products and seem to have a closed-off attitude to changes. Epic Care (EMR) Systems needs to evaluate other tools such as voice recognition and create user-experience teams with feedback between them and their healthcare provider to improve the quality of the system. Some of the possible threats of Epic Care (EMR) Systems are the development and deployment of internal incident response planning support to respond to and mitigate risks. Also, the development and implementation of recovery plans that reduce the
