DISCUSSION POINTS & LATE DEDUCTIONS Initial Discussion Responses = These are worth 70 points each week per discussion question. You will lose 10 points for each day your initial discussions are late. No points will be rewarded for discussions posted after Sunday of that week at 11:59 CST. Discussion Responses to Classmates= These are worth 30 points. You will lose all points if these are not done by Sunday at 11:59 CST. Please contact me if you do not believe you will be able to meet this requirement, some circumstances may allow for an extension. However, you must contact me for an approval before your discussion postings are due or typical late deductions will apply. Much can be gained through discussion board participation and posting early increases the likelihood of a rich dialogue. ASSIGNMENTS ASSIGNMENT GRADING INFORMATION Please review the grading information included in the syllabus for grade weights and assignment details. The Scoring Guide’s for each assignment will be used to assess and grade your work. Turnitin: You must complete and attach a Turnitin report to each of your assignments. Assignments will not be accepted until the Turnitin report has been completed. You will be assigned a 0 if you do not submit a Turnitin report with your assignment. Any agreement above 20% may result in a submission of an academic dishonesty report. Assignments which are turned in late will have automatic deductions of 25% per day , unless prior arrangements have been made. Please do not ask me after an assignment is due for an extension, late requests for extensions will rarely be granted. Please note the last assignment is due week 10, Friday at 11:59pm CST. If the assignment in Unit 10 is not submitted by that day and time, you will receive a 0 for that assignment. KEEP IN TOUCH Any questions you may have about the course please use the “Ask Your Instructor” forum. Many times your classmates may have a similar question, so asking questions there will benefit everyone. If you are not comfortable asking your questions there, feel free to send me a private course message through the Courseroom or email. It is expected that you will sign in to the course at least four days each week.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
