sheets were measured and covered on the subfloors. These wooden sheets were placed closely to each other (by using a rectangular block of wood) and aligned together with the help of a hammer.
- After this, a major step had taken place – framing of the walls. The walls were framed by wedging them and manually placing them upright, to form a vertical structure of the house. The walls were then cut for electrical openings, windows and other spaces. Panels were made in these walls with the help of a drill and nails were put in to attach them to the edges of the walls. This was the making of the first storey. - Now the second storey begins. In this step again, long-rectangular subfloors were attached to the steel panels and assembled like it was done while making the first storey. Flooring was done where sheets covered the subfloors and acted like the roof for first storey. After this, second storey walls were manually placed with window openings and other spaces. - Next, roof beams were placed with the help of cranes and labourers. These roof beams are trusses that form a rigid structure to support the house from the top. - Windows and grills were placed in their respective openings.
