I would talk to the athletes doing rehab and ask more questions of the ATs in the ATR while they’re administering care to athletes. Observation Day #2 What Happened? Have I done/seen this before? How do I feel about it? What did I learn? What would I do differently, after thinking about it? I followed Brandon today. He was evaluating an athlete who came in with hip pains. We also restocked No, this was totally new. It was cool to be there and experience a real eval and watch the way that the I was really interested. It was very cool to watch the interaction and see the process of evaluation. I learned how to stock tape tables. I would ask more questions about what Brandon was doing when he was evaluating the athlete.

the tape tables. athlete and AT interact. Observation Day #3 What Happened? Have I done/seen this before? How do I feel about it? What did I learn? What would I do differently, after thinking about it? It was slow in the ATR today. Some athletes were doing rehab on the pink balance discs and there was an athlete working with weights in a pitching motion and getting his shoulder stretched out. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
