Skipping breakfast has no adverse effects on the metabolism in the body. The morning meal is helpful as it acts as a source of energy, but it does not mean that if a person skips breakfast, they should not be focus or work as expected. The reason is that skipping breakfast does not significantly affect the daily use of energy. The body usually has fats storage and glucose that is used as a source of energy through the metabolism process to convert them to power (Matthys 136). In the morning the body requires rest after sleeping, and a person can skip the morning meal and take it later in the afternoon to allow the body to use the energy from foot taken in the dinner. When a person sleeps, the body functions are reduced, and it implies energy use if regulated and reduced. Therefore, not eating in the morning allows the body to continue burning fat energy rather than using the glucose in the body. Similarly, skipping breakfast helps a person to reduce the insulin level as well as allowing high human growth hormones production in the body. Conclusion
