players would benefit from taking creatine supplementation to improve their performance. I believe this to be true because in all three studies, it shows that when athletes consume creatine throughout the training, there is an overall increase in their short term performance. 2,3,4 This included lower-body maximal strength, total repetition performed until failure, enhanced repeated sprint performance, increase in jumping ability and showing significantly greater gains in strength in the athletes. 2,3,4 The study pointed out that there was no change in endurance running or upper body strength, there was primarily an improvement in the bouts of high intensity exercises. 2,3,4 This is very beneficial for basketball players and would highly recommend them taking the supplement to increase their performance when it comes to constantly sprinting up and down the court and jumping.
