2.10 Conceptual FrameworkThe researchers conceptualize the study to illustrate what willbe expected through the research. It includes assumptions, principles, and rules that holds the ideas together that comprise a broad concept. This will also become beneficial in guiding the researchers to theentire process of the study and in order to justify the importance ofthe research.Figure 2.1 Conceptual Framework24
Likewise, this research will also be covering theconceptualization concerning the level of acceptance of tattooenthusiasts and non-enthusiasts regarding body inking. Theresearchers will use surveys and statistics as the process to identifythe level of acceptance of tattoo enthusiasts and non-enthusiastsregarding body inking which leads us to the input which stated theviews and perception of tattoo enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts inregards to body inking. As we go through and move forward onreading more literature by local and foreign authors, the researcherswould be able to construct and make more concepts regarding thisstudy.Chapter 3RESEARCH METHODOLOGYIn this section, the researchers will discuss about the methods used in this study. It consists of Research Design, Subjects and Study Sites, Data Collecting Instrument, Data Gathering Procedure, Data Analysis, and the Ethical Consideration.3.1Research DesignThe researchers apply the descriptive research method todetermine the levels of acceptance of tattoo enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts regarding body inking. Descriptive research or statisticalresearch produces the right or specific predictions of collected data in25
the study. The researchers conducted a survey to collect the data, striving to know the levels of acceptance of tattoo enthusiasts andnon-tattoo enthusiasts regarding body inking. The study uses quantitative researchmethod that includes close-ended information such as; to measureattitudes, behaviors, and performance. The analysis of this type of dataconsists of statistically analyzing scores collected on instruments suchas questionnaires or checklists to answer research questions and beable to test hypotheses.3.2Subjects and Study SiteFor this research, tattoo enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts withinthe Manila area would be study subjects. The target respondents of thestudy would be 100, 50 tattoo enthusiasts and 50 non-tattooenthusiasts.
