The background is black and has no evidence of fans

people happy and a lot of people sad. The background is black, and has no evidence of fans, or teammates, it seems to be just two men, a ball, and a basket. One can infer that the context of this photo would be the immense competition between these two men. They are both fighting for that final point, and will do anything to achieve it. The race factor comes in as well, as whoever wins could be claimed possibly better, respectfully, or a more well rounded player. There could be a argument about the direction of the ball, whether the white man hit it out of the black man’s hand and the ball is leading to go out of bounds, or that the black man got the advantage on the white guy after his jump wasn’t at the right angle. Although it looks like it could go either way. The black man is slightly taller in this picture, so I would support the conclusion that he got the upper hand on the other player. This picture is meant to create suspense, as well as focus only on the two subjects, and resemble how intense a couple seconds of a sport can change the game completely. I feel as though this picture represents that one second that determines whether one team is winning provincials, or losing nationals.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
