inequality (Veronica Amarante, 2014).I personally feel thatwealthy people should keep contributing for the betterment of the society because they are the one’s who have the power to support any social cause and people would follow them if they are going on the right track. In this way, not only the societies be benefitted but the corporates would also be able to improve their brand value and create a space in the hearts of people and ultimately increasing their customers (Porter ME, Kramer, 2002). A major goal of this research is to understand the levels of wealth inequality in various industrialized societies with an aim toprovide insights into the causes of such wealth disparity that ultimately impacts quality of human life in those societies (M De Nardi, 2004). Next,I want to gather information about the ways in which corporates provide social service and how do such activities impact the society. Specifically, I want to ask whether such social service can help mitigate such wealth disparity. In addition to the positive impacts of corporate social service, I also want to gain an understanding of how these corporate activities impact the corporates themselves in terms of public image or financial benefits such as tax rebates.For instance, many corporates can establish an NGO with a primary purpose of carrying out some sort of social service, but it can also potentially serve the financial greed of certain corporates by helping them secure substantial tax rebates (Elson P.R. 2011). Therefore, one goal of this study will be to ascertain the extent of such phonypractices and hopefully distinguishing them from true philanthropic work. Surveys and one on one interviews with the corporate employees can provide the inside scoop on various corporate activities that impact the socio-economic status of people in our society.
