The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) recount the life of Jesus as he walked the Earth as the Son of Man and God from birth and death. There are many recordings throughout the gospels, of Jesus establishing his movement throughout Israel mentioning prominent locations to mark on the map. He was born in Bethlehem, Judea Matthew 2:1 “ 1 In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,”. He called his first disciples by the Sea of Galilee, Matthew 4:18 “ 18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ”. He was baptised in the

The narration of his life mentions many geographical landmarks that can be located in the definition of the near east. In ancient Arabian history the followers of Allah were called the believers, before they were referred to as Muslim and the religion was called Islam. Before Muhammed the Believers, like the Jews, regarded Abraham as the patriarch of their faith but they posit that Ishmael was the promised child to Abraham where his nations would descend from. Abraham is mentioned building a house for the Lord in Surah 2:127, “ 127 As Abraham raises the foundations of the House, together with Ishmael, “Our Lord, accept it from us, You are the Hearer, the Knower.””
