Learning Theory to Be Utilized: Explain how the theory will be applied. I will be using the teach back method and theory because this is a useful way of checking our audiences understanding by asking them to state in their own words what they need to know or do about their health and is way to confirm that I have explained things in a manner that the audience has understood (Use the Teach-Back Method: Tool #5, 2015) Through the teach back theory, I will be handing out a pamphlet that uses simple language and will be evaluating their understanding of the material by asking open ended questions having the audience reiterate in their own words what they have learned.Goal:Healthy People 2020 (HP2020) objective(s) utilized as the goal for the teaching. Include the appropriate objective number and rationale for using the selected HP2020 objective (use at least one objective from one of the 24 focus areas). Alma Ata’s Health for All Global Initiatives recognized that there are health disparities in one country can be harmful all over the world and it is important to recognize these issues and eliminate them (Maurer & Smith, 2013). HP2020 D16 brings awareness and education to prevent the disease in persons who are at high risk for diabetes with prediabetes would reduce the number of people with diabetes and improve the quality of life for those who have diabetes and is at risk even though diabetes does not fall under the top 10 health interventions, educating people about health problems is. Develop Behavioral Objectives (Including Domains), Content, and Strategies/Methods: Behavioral Objective and DomainExample – Third-grade students will name one healthy food choice in each of the five food groups by the end of the presentation.
