2. How do you think Purvis could improve communications between  McCarthy and the employees? Be specific in your recommendations. Encourage improved communication throughout  company. Inform all employees to express their concerns to  McCarthy. McCarthy to be more of a leader and less of an  achievement oriented manager.

3. If you were the manager at the Saddle Creek Deli, how would  you improve openness and upward communication? I would empower employees to make decision  directly affecting their work departments. Extend the bonus cost-cutting money percentage to  both manager and employees.   Encourage the use of open communication.  Communication to go both up-down and down-up.   Conduct routine employee feedback in regards to  employee satisfaction.
