e. Updates written on pay slips. f. Verbal methods. 3. Details of the following aspects of the company´s WHS policies, procedures and programs. a. Contractor spot – checks These are random checks conducted by Coles Group on contractors, suppliers and demonstrators. If a non-conformance id identified in a spot-check a corrective action report may be raised by the site, store or Coles Group contract manager. b. Chemicals Contractors must provide up to date material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for all chemicals used on site and brought onto the site or stored at the site. This document is valid for five years and it must include Australian emergency contact details. The chemicals must be storage in a manner and location that is in a secure position, free from the risk of falling or being knocked over, away from food and appropriately labelled. In this matter, contractors must also minimise the quantity of chemicals kept at the site, use control measures, provide MSDS for each chemical used, keep all empty or liquid petroleum gas cylinders secured on a cleaning equipment trolley or secured. c. Incident management All contractor incidents that occur, including near misses must be reported to the Store/site manager as soon as practical after incident. d. Working from heights Where possible, the need to work from height should be eliminated. Approved height protection control measures must be implemented based on risk. Make sure personal have received appropriate training in the use of equipment. 4. Details of workplace hazards including: a. Informing staff of identified hazards The hazards that can exist in the workplace can include: Physical Biological Ergonomic Electrical Psychological And some substances susceptible to be hazardous

These hazards need to be communicated by managers to all the staff in order to avoid undesirable outcomes. All staff and team members need to be aware of the relevant WHS legislation that relates to their working environment. b. Informing staff of the outcomes of risk assessment and control If any of the aforementioned hazards are present in the workplace, it is likely that staff team members will become inefficient, lose interest and motivation, be concerned about going to work, have low job involvement, generally become dissatisfied with working conditions and their jobs. To avoid that it is necessary to inform staff at all time about those risks as well as the regulations released by the government to avoid unfortune outcomes.
