DQ2 Who should make the hiring decision? I do not believe there is specified criteria regarding the final decision-making authority in hiring process. But, following authorities take the final decision as per the size, objective and demand of the hiring process. The Chairman of the company after they receive the final recommendation from the hiring committee. The hiring committee if decision making is bestowed upon them. Or even the owner of the company if the size of the business is small and owner of the company takes all important decisions. Decision makers must be careful to abide labor laws and stir clear of potential legal issues within the hiring process and final decision making. Decision makers should comply with the labor and employment laws. The business is compliant with Title VII of Civil rights Act. The testing and selection process was fair without bias and discrimination. Chp#1
