and how trust is so important. It provided a social group. It kept me busy and focused outside of
stressful matters. And it created a great avenue for me to learn how hard work can lead to some
really fun and exciting outcomes.
I may pick up volleyball late, and I’m not very good at it; I even rarely scored. However, I
am still thankful that somebody invented volleyball; because without it, my mother wouldn’t be
very active even in her age now. Without it, I may never be able to enjoy it with my cousin and
mother. I wouldn’t be able to realize what I am missing by not playing sports in my entire life.
This may be a very simple reason, but deep in my heart I know that I am very thankful to the
person who invented this game. I am so thankful to have been introduced to this incredible
sport and the meaningful impact it has made in my life. My experiences with my cousins and
mother will be imprinted in my heart and mind. It was such an enjoyable experience that I
would always choose to repeat it again because it has provided me so many moments that I’ll
forever cherish since I was learning from some of my favourite people in life. Fortuitous
happening during this Covid-19 has led to these wonderful memories, experiences, and
relationships. Volleyball has been my vehicle to go pass through boredom during this difficult
time of pandemic and I’ll forever be grateful to this amazing sport.
