Response 2 Mark 2:27-28
It was very creative of you to relate Jesus teaching about the Sabbath in business that
observed this sacred day. After coming across Mark 2:27-28, I agree with your idea that Sabbath
was made for people to refresh their weekly work and give thanks to the lord for prosperity. I can
add that observing the Sabbath is essential as the Lord desire, but we should remember it is vital
to do good in this day and not mere going since the laws made by human beings expect it.
You
are correct to indicate Chick-Fil-A is always closed on Sunday, that meaning it is a Christian
company that observes the Sabbath. Since Jesus insist on doing good on the Sabbath day while
still observing its righteousness, Chick-Fil-A happened to participate on National Sandwich day

that fell on Sunday to show the importance of being together on that day (Genovese 2019).
However, the company always adheres to its tradition of closing on Sunday and makes the
employee attend to their religion.
