Tim Hortons Inc. also aims at intensifying its Research and Development efforts in this region so as to determine the existence and viability of new opportunities. Additionally, one of its key long-term plans is to enter new markets in different continents. Conclusion Despite the challenges of maintaining a competitive presence in Canada and increasing its brand dominance in foreign markets, Tim Hortons growth-centered strategy has seen tremendous success due to its narrow and well-defined focus on growth and expansion in its existing markets as well as prospective new markets. In 2017, it emerged as one of the most competitive companies in the Toronto Stock Exchange. It is also well-recognized as an international restaurant brand with one of the highest revenues among dominant industry players such as Starbucks. The growth strategy success is demonstrated by the fact that it has enabled Tim Hortons to increase its presence in both domestic and foreign markets, its earnings per share, revenues and profits.
