files on the laptop are backed up onto the external hard drive. The whole process can take as long as hours depending on the size of files. Once the backup process is finished, the external hard drive should be disconnected from the laptop. By right clicking on the external hard drive icon on the desktop, a drop-down menu shows up. By clicking the “eject the external hard drive” option, the external hard drive is safe to be removed. The backup step is important. The user uses the backup to restore the data onto the new SSD. The user should make sure the laptop is completely shut off and the power cord is removed. The user needs to place the laptop on a clean work surface and place the screwdrivers and SSD besides the laptop. To open the back cover of the laptop, the user needs to close the lid of the laptop and flip over the laptop so that the user can face the back cover. The user should grab the Philips #000 screwdriver and remove all the screws on the back cover. The screws can be clearly identified. The user should place the screws on the work surface and make sure they are safely kept.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
