Childhood Experience Test, Timothy McVeigh only received a score of 1. Timothy Mcveigh did not suffer from most of anything that was asked in the questions. So, it comes weird that McVeigh ended up committing a crime like this. But with the paranoia and risk factors that were present it is possible at the same time. When a child has ended up having any type of experiencing negative physical, mental or emotional abuse, it can leave permeant damage on that child for the rest of their life. We may never know how it may impact a child until it is too late. If a child does end up having to experience this, it is more than likely that will try and repeat that same offense as they enter adolescents as well as adult hood. Take for instance if your parents are kidnappers and murders and they have groomed you from a young age that this is the way of life and have kept you from the world what else would you know? You would follow in their footsteps as this is the only way of life that you have been adapted to and know. It is crucial for the communities that we live in to recognize when a child has been damaged as the children are our future. As a person who is mitigating a sentence for Timothy McVeigh, I believe he should not be allowed to be sentenced with the death penalty. Timothy McVeigh suffers from mental, childhood social/ and or an environmental up bringing that have played a main role in his mind set. I believe that Timothy McVeigh was not of sound mind when he acted out his plan for the attack on the Murrah building.
