I remember when I took photography in High School we got to actually develop our pictures I really enjoyed that part. I think it is definitely a good thing with all the new technology that has happened with photography, I hope you think so as well. 59 words Permalink | Show parent | Reply Re: Learning Guide Unit 7 by Cecilia Agbewanu - Wednesday, 24 October 2018, 9:52 AM Hello, You did a great job. take many more photos although rarely get any printed. Highlighting this change in your field of work brings home to me the multitude of changes that must have been rolled out throughout the world due to technology. Although the long-term for these changes are likely to be for the best, in the short-term it must have been very challenging to millions of people over the world. 103 words Permalink | Show parent | Reply Re: Learning Guide Unit 7 by Maryflora Odhiambo - Saturday, 20 October 2018, 4:45 PM Based on my professional experience, poor performance and work place demographics are the main factors that is continuously affecting my organization.Recently there was an appraisal of employees being done by the employee and supervisor. The employee does the rating and the supervisor too does the rating and they both sit down down to discuss the rating and the general process.Employees who performed dismally were laid off. This caused a lot of panic in the offices because there was no prior communication or better way of warning these employees of what repercussions they would face. Majority of the employees were distraught because this was the first time this has happened. The organization was cutting down on the employees too due to inadequate funds.Initially the employees would be notified prior to the exercise and counseled accordingly but this time nobody was sure of their job security. This move was not received well by the employees for fear of the unknown. word count 160 164 words Permalink | Show parent | Reply Re: Learning Guide Unit 7 by Amanda Santos - Tuesday, 23 October 2018, 7:36 PM Hi, Floe.

I can understand why there was panic in the office. Appraisals always make us nervous, especially if there is no prior communication. Being insecure about keeping your job is awful for any employee! I hope the manager of your organization can find a better way of doing this.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
