We next used a SWOT Analysis, focusing on the weight of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of the business strategy model considered by the business. The SWOT Analysis highlights the key points in making the decision of whether a business strategy is beneficial for a company. CRM builds upon the strength of Carnival already possessing two years of past-cruiser information. It corrects the weakness of not utilizing customer data for behavioral analysis. It provides data needed for the opportunity of attracting repeat customers. Last but not least, it softens the threat of reliance on travel agents for customer data. CRM will enable Carnival to rollout its customer focused initiative.By the research and data outlined by the two IS business models, we have found that a CRM will help Carnival Cruise Lines. Through Customer Relationship Management, Carnival can evolve its customer-centric goals, increase repeat customers, and attract new customers.
