He also needs to learn how to delegate so he doesn’t keep overloading himself with too many assignments. To do this he needs to implement to leadership styles that are a part of the path-goal theory. Not only will this keep him from overloading he will also be able to re- engineer the company’s financial system. These two components are directive leadership and achievement-oriented leadership. In directive leadership this involves planning, organizing, task coordination, policy setting, and other guidelines that helps gets the needs of the company met. So you need to sit down with Mr. Jakes and explain to him that he needs to take a breather and plan, organize, and set a policy for the employees on what needs to be done by them and also by him. This will help them stay focused on the right things and not veer off from their tasks. This will also help re-engineer the financial situation of the company. The policy setting can be like a code of conduct or procedural rules. And the employees must understand that if they do not follow the rules outlined in the policy they are subject to receive warning that could end up in termination.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
