Maybe some of you just prefer watching vids and taking quizzes and racking up points anyway? Each one of these quizzes is worth a possible 15 points, so you can rack up to 225 points if you focus and kick ass!

Most quizzes have 15 questions, and to do well you actually need to watch the vids, take notes, and be prepared to take a challenging quiz on them to earn the points. You really need to earn and learn the knowledge to help you the rest of the semester, but the points are nice too. Here is the deal: 1) ONLY TWO SHOTS AT IT These video lecture quizzes can only be taken TWO TIMES each! What time that will be is entirely up to you, but you only have two cracks at it! Your highest score of the two will be the one recorded. 2) <HALF = NADA These video lecture quizzes have a MINIMUM 50% threshold score that you must achieve in order to get any points at all! Yep, that’s right: if you get less than 8/15 questions right on the quizzes that have15 questions, you get no points at all. Get 8 or more of the questions correct, and your score will be recorded and points allotted to you based on how well you did. You know, like taking a test. I assume if you get less than 8 right, that you actually did not watch the material at all and are just guessing. Good luck with that. 3) YOU ARE ON THE CLOCK These video lecture quizzes are also timed .... meaning, once you start, the clock is ticking and you only have 10 minutes to complete that entire quiz! If you go over time, you get a 0! A big fat goose egg! This is specifically set up for the scammers who are intent on doing none of the video watching, with the idea that they will Google all the answers. Good luck with that one too: you have limited time, and many questions are specifically crafted from the video itself, and are thus un-Google- able. Is that even a word? It is now. All in all, this is a fantastic foundation stone to build your wine knowledge upon, but it ain’t no walk in the park! In other words, you really need to watch each video thoroughly perhaps a couple of times, take great notes, and have your notes with you if that helps you while you take the quiz. But trying to take it blind with no prep will likely do you no good. Vids are here: and all of the quizzes are currently open and ready for you to take! Take them all today if you like! But do check out the due dates for these: 5 of the WINE IQ video quizzes are due for each of the first full 3 weeks of this course. First 5 are due 1 1:55PM on Sunday February 3 ; the second 5 are due 11:55PM on Sunday February 10 ; the third set due by 11:55PM on Sunday February 17 . Once you miss them, they are gone forever, so go ahead and work ahead while the semester is young and fresh and you have nothing else to do in other classes!

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
